Use Your UnitedHealthcare Plan to Get Mental Health Treatment at Bella Vida TMS
Every year, millions of people suffer in silence because they think mental health care is too expensive or hard to get.
But here’s a shocking truth:
Depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide.
And in the U.S., 1 person dies by suicide every 11 minutes.
Yet, more than 50% of adults with a mental illness don’t get treatment.
Why? They don’t know where to go or how to pay.
If you have UnitedHealthcare insurance, you may already be covered for powerful, life-changing mental health treatments—including TMS, Spravato®, talk therapy, and medication management at Bella Vida TMS.

We work with patients across Phoenix, Glendale, Scottsdale, and Gilbert to help them heal—often with little or no out-of-pocket costs. And we handle the hard stuff, like insurance calls and paperwork.
“Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of, but stigma and bias shame us all.”

You are not alone. And help may be closer—and more affordable—than you think.
What Does UnitedHealthcare Cover at Bella Vida TMS?
Get Help Without the High Costs
UnitedHealthcare is one of the largest insurance providers in Arizona and the U.S. At Bella Vida TMS, we’re in-network with many UnitedHealthcare plans, so you can access advanced care without stressing about bills.
Here’s what UnitedHealthcare may cover:
TMS Therapy – FDA-Approved & Insurance-Covered
TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) is a non-invasive treatment for depression. It’s safe, doesn’t require meds, and can help when nothing else has worked.
UnitedHealthcare usually covers TMS if you’ve already tried two or more antidepressants with no success.
Good to know:
TMS has a response rate of up to 70% and is FDA-approved for major depressive disorder.
Spravato® – Covered with Prior Authorization
Spravato® (esketamine) is a fast-acting nasal spray used for severe depression and suicidal thoughts. You take it in a safe, monitored setting at our clinic.
Many UnitedHealthcare plans cover Spravato®, but it usually needs prior authorization. Don’t worry—we’ll take care of that part.
Spravato may be right for you if:
- You have treatment-resistant depression
- You’ve tried multiple medications with little improvement
- You’re struggling with thoughts of self-harm
Talk Therapy – Usually Covered by UHC
We offer individual and family therapy with licensed mental health professionals. If you feel stuck, anxious, angry, or sad all the time, talking to someone can help.
UnitedHealthcare plans often cover therapy visits under behavioral health benefits. We’ll connect you with a therapist who fits your needs and is covered under your plan.
Medication Management – Handled by Nurse Practitioners
Our nurse practitioners (NPs) help manage your medications. If your meds aren’t working or are causing side effects, we can adjust them or try something new.
Medication visits are usually billed as specialist visits—and are covered by most UnitedHealthcare plans.
Ketamine Therapy – Not Always Covered
IV ketamine infusions are still considered “off-label” for depression by most insurance companies. That means UnitedHealthcare might not cover it, but some plans offer partial reimbursement.
If ketamine is right for you, we’ll help you understand your options—including self-pay plans.
